Blind by Jacqueline Nash

This micropoem evolved from a poem simply called Magic which can be found on my Jacqueline C Nash Poetry blog here.

Blind

Searching for the magic
but my eyes only see
blatant reality & the ordinary,
I think it’s more a state of mind
that makes us magic blind.

Secret by Jacqueline Nash

This micropoem is a stanza from a poem called Echo which you can find on my Jacqueline C Nash Poetry blog here.

~

Secret

Words echo in my head
repeating over and over
like a rhythmic chant
a sacred psalm
a prayer I can never share
a secret I can never tell

Unexpected by Jacqueline Nash

Unexpected

Love often comes when least expected
when it does, do not reject it;
give love a chance.

Magic by Jacqueline Nash

Magic

You took my hand
as we walked on the sand
The sea breeze blew
through our hair
Sun so bright
shone golden light
& there was magic
in the air

Wheel by Jacqueline Nash

This micropoem evolved from one of my poems on my Jacqueline C Nash Poetry blog called Winter’s End.

Wheel

I had expected so much
more than this;
But the wheel has turned,
my life hanging
between the spokes
as it moves towards
Winter’s end.

Absent by Jacqueline Nash

This micropoem is loosely based on a poem I wrote called Goosebumps which can be found on Jacqueline C Nash Poetry

Absent

I rouse from sleep
Sense your body close to me
Feel you stroke my hair
I turn to face you
To embrace you
But you are not there

Trees by Jacqueline Nash

Trees

They stand
like skeletons
trees bared
stripped of
leaves,
limbs reaching
to the skies
awaiting the
magic Spring
weaves.
