Passing Time by Jacqueline Nash

Passing Time

Time passes
insidiously,
Creeping
unrelentlessly
as the wheel
spins on
Just like a
puff of smoke
our time on earth
will soon be gone

Oh-so very true… Last night I read some very similar (in content) verses in Boethius’ classic, “The Consolation of Philosophy,” although in his work it is fickle Fortune over the course of Time. Very good! ๐Ÿ™‚
