The Waiting Game by Jacqueline Nash

This micropoem was written from a longer version of the poem also called ‘The Waiting Game’. This can be viewed on my poetry blog, Jacqueline C Nash Poetry.

The Waiting Game

A waiting game
no-one wants to play
The outcome blowing
in the wind of reality
The final breath
not far away
We wait, silently
